Skydiamond clan

The skydiamond clan (That Lucy Hikaru came from) is a sort of secretive "Watcher" clan who's purpose appears to be to quell any demonic uprisings in the land. The clan seems to be semi-normadic and moves around a few small islands and the nearby land west off route 216 in Sinnoh. It appears those lands have some significance to the clan.

The clan seems to be quite secretive and doesn't usually make contact with other lucario clans... so not many lucario clans outside it actually know of it's existence. Those that do usually know of them to be engaged in demonhunting.

Unlike many clans, this particular one does commonly accept new members (If they deem them to be suitable enough for the horrors they must face). Many new members are those who have lost everything to demons. Also, unlike many clans, they do allow their members to wander off and get a human trainer. Though only members that were in the clan for 2 generations or more may take up leadership roles.

Although most trainers that DO have a skydiamond clan lucario often pass their whole lives not knowing that the lucario is a skydiamond clan member. They seem to keep a "Don't ask don't tell" attitude with regards to it.

Also travelling with trainers is an easy way to see the world and extend the clan's surveillance of the world.

Clan Lucarios

Clan Lucarios appear to have titles that confer a certain sense of "Rank" in the clan. Although that doesn't seem to be absol-ute in the millitary sense. Ranks are (from lowest)

Trainee --> Obvious role.
Initiates --> Non-specialised members

Mystic --> "Spellcaster" or Healers. depending on type. usually those that go to mystics don't take combat roles. This is the alternate, less traveled pathway.

DemonSeeker --> Aka "Seekers". These perform surveillance of hosts and root out demons.
Demonhunter--> Elite warriors trained in anti-demon fighting styles and skills
Demonslayer --> Highly experienced demonhunters that have proven themselves in battle several times attain this title. They are formidable fighters.

Council --> Usually comprised of demonhunters/slayers that form a ruling council deciding clan matters
Oracle --> Powerful spellcaster. The Oracle is chosen from a mystic. They appear to take on the role of "Archmage", "Fortune teller", "Exorcist" and "Librarian"
Alpha --> like most lucario clans: the one overall in charge. Current alpha is a female.


Ranks are not absol-ute. I.e. some Mystics command more respect than demonhunters if they are really specialised in their work.

As skilled as they are and even with their equipment, they train strongly in teamwork and fighting as a team. Largely due to the immense raw power of what they fight. Odds are usually stacked strongly against them, but they know they must not fail.

Watching

it appears that the clan keeps tabs ( and an extensive library) on demons as well as anyone who has a demonic spirit in them (like Lucy, but she's special case). However the clan believes that unless the demon enters the world (or the unfortunate case is posessed so badly) and causes havoc they don't make a move to stop them. This is so as overacting may trigger worse scenarios.

Occasionally they are known to show up to help those with such entities if such intervention can help the host suppress the demon's influence.

Vs Lucy

Lucy Hikaru was a former skydiamond clan member. she was born in the clan, then orphaned at a young age.

She later left the clan due to reasons unknown.

It appears she seems to be the clan's council's interest and they refer to her case as the "Cursed angel". It seems to be kept a secret within the council for some reason instead of being clan knowledge.

It also appears that the entities in the "Cursed angel" are somehow related to the formation fo the clan itself a few hundred years ago.....
