First Tyranid Warrior

My first painted tyranid warrior.... old test model. Painted it a while back then well took a while before I finished the base. stuck snow on it. So yes... snowed over grass.

so yes. wet blending original style. Have a lot more to do.


The snow well, was made using a mix of the static snow base, water, PVA glue and BABY (aka talcum) POWDER... yes... still not got the mixture 100% right though. But so far I know you need to use very little water, (just enough to make it flow a bit), a lot of static snow and a lot of babypowder. the mix should resemble a slightly runny paste.....


so yes, a painted mini at last to break the tone of galz and digital art.
