Yes, Lucy's an orphan. She has a very shattered past and apparently witnessed the death of both her parents (and her other siblings) at a very young age.
The fact that she's an orphan and the fact that she is a very poor fighter (and rather attractive by Lucario standards) probably was the reason why she was very often bullied by others in her clan.
She later left her clan... though she doesn't talk bout why she eventually ran off.

Details of her past are very sketchy. It is obvious that she does remember her past clearly (as whatever happened seems to have disturbed her greatly), however she doesn't like to talk bout her past and will always avoid that subject by abruptly changing the topic to something more pleasant.

Only the rare few that become very close friends to her (and keep insisting on knowing her past) will she oblige and reveal small pieces of her past.... and will take every opportunity to change the subject while at it.

It appears she doesn't want anyone to pity her for her past... as she prefers to focus on the present and the future. That's probably why she avoids even mentioning her past.

One of the things she fears is for others to go through the same horrors that she had been through before.

Well, Happy birthday to ~XD-385

Lol. Somehow managed to get this done in spite of a certain pileup of homework.


Generally I'm not in the habit of making birthday pics unless something special compels me to make one.

This case it's cause he's the first deviant to give me a birthday deviation (A story actually).... more specifically the first that asked me for my birthdate and gave me something.

That happened last year, in October.
So this time I'll return the favor.


Lucy, Ruby and Sapphire. All 3 of them (man they were annoying to draw)
Lucy's a familiar char to you pple. She's a normal Lucario.

Ruby and Sapphire are chars from him..... before you say anything They aren't "normal" Lucarios. (Lack of spikes, more human features etc.)
And if you haven't figured it already, Ruby is Sapphire's mum.


Techniques:
1) (attempt) Stabilising my simpler fur texture tech (will be used in comics)
2) Simpler lineart tech using markers (again, comic tech)
3) Simpler hair texturing techniques (For the comics too)
4) Triple- shading technique. (Once more for comics)
