Hive Tyrant 'Icetalon'

The big bad-ass hive tyrant alien-queen ish thingie of HIVE FLEET SNOWFYRE (not official name) is finally done
after over half a year of scratching my head and over 3 months of FREEKIN WETBLENDING it's finally DONE! DONE FOR THE PAINTING COMP which I'd probably loose anyway...

so yes. wetblending on the big wings is a irritation.

Anyway must say, Icetalon is a sexy hive tyrant! the old queen-ish sexier tyrant version than the modern tyrant.
Also the close combat arm is magnetised as you can see from here. either scythin' talonz or lash-whip and the other talon counts as a bonesword. Comes with a KUSTOM devourer Kannon (i.e. twin link devourer with BRAIN LEECH wormz) and all my long term watchers following this project will know the wings are detachable and magnetised too but I'd not show the points.

So yes and Snow effects and grass and whatever who care. enuff painting of this thing! now time to go and paint other stupid things.
Like the ork garbage truck or tau pathfinders or the sad remora drones sitting on the bench
or...
whatever

God I'm going to take a break from wetblending for a while.


Colour scheme is some leviathan fleet splinter I suppose.


p.s. anyone actually reads that ranting? any tyranid/ork/tau models you want to suggest me to paint next?
