MS paint + Mouse Challenge

Intro:

Sure
Anyone can draw using a pen or pencil, that's probably why they invented the WACOM tablet to begin with.

But can you draw with Only using the mouse?


This is the MS PAINT + Mouse challenge:


Draw and colour an image (anything you wish) to something WORTHY of a space in your gallery.


Only using MS Paint (Or a similar simple graphics editor like MacPaint for those of you that don't support microsoft....)

And the following tools:
1) Pencil / paintbrush
2) Erasor
3) Paint bucket (I.e. fill)

and a mouse (yes, no Wacom tablets, no scanning... you'll only be cheating yourself.)


and Nothing else. No burn, smudges...... Not even line tools, curves or spray can can be used.
Just only using the listed 3 tools.... and the mouse.
(Hey, I didn't call it a challenge for nothing!! )



How much control do you have over your mouse? There's only one way to find out.



Note: Challenge only applicable to those who haven't done or rarely do pixel art..... or do pixel art with the Wacom tablet instead of the mouse.


Accept the challenge! Create your own Pixel art.
Expand your art horizons! Try new stuff!!
Push the horizons of what you can do with a mouse and Pixel art!!!!
Complete it, then pass the challenge on to whoever you like. (bout 5.... or more if you're evil)

Never saw this coming did ya?

I originally experimented with pixel art deep in the old days of being a combat medic. Had a com once.... and endless amounts of free time. So I used paint.... and the mouse.... and tried to do something.

Did something rather cool though, though that was lost to the army com..... (file encryption.... so nobody can ever excess it again.... )

So yes, pixel art, Horrendously time consuming, not as pretty as what you can do with more advanced tools like burns and smudging and filters and so on.

but a throwback to more primitive days... of you, a mouse, a computer, MS paint.... and endless amounts of free time and boredom.

Art comments

Technically not sure where this will go. Technically it's pixel art, though also technically it's fanart. Unfortunately, pixel art doesn't have a fan art part


Yes, this WAS done with just the above listed tools Believe it ..... used a lot of zoom function though. Shading was all done manually. Though somehow without the usual fur anti-aliasing techs, she looks kinda..... plastic-like.....

Also screwed up her hair..... damn hard to draw it with the mouse.


Took bout 2 days. total bout 8++ hours.
Done first by sketching with the pencil tool, then thickening and fusing lines.

Note: Don't save pixel art in JPEG.

I'll prolly not do another stupid stunt like this for quite a while...... -__-
