R-127 combat support frame

Origin: Salamanders
Usage: Coalition and cultist

The R-127 light combat support frame is a mech that was originally a simple strapping on of guns on a construction frame mech'. The mech came about during the demon invasion of the factory-city of trasher's bay, scraparp. While that factory manufactured arms for the coalition, many were far too heavy to be used in a mobile way by the local salamander infantry. As they had a large excess of large guns, but not a large standing population, the workers were pressed into the war, many mech pilots included.

Someone came up with the idea of strapping as many of those weapons as possible on one of the construction frames and the combat mech was born.

Although half of the city was overrun by demons, the new combat mechs allowed the defenders to hold out long enough for coalition reinforcements to arrive.
War still rages over the city.

With the success of the mech, many construction frames were pressed into service. Though rare and questionable at times, they provide mobile heavy firepower for the otherwise lightly armed salamanders.

A common modification is to boost the armour in front of the mech... though the one that bink found had it's front blown off.

Actually I just drew this as a random act of madness after hearing this song [link] for some odd reason.
Also wanted some perspective practice.

All the rest of the things added were just well made up after drawing the pic.
