Yep.
Meet my local Singaporean Fruit Thief.


It's an adorable flying fox. ( I believe it is the common fruit bat or short nosed fruit bat, see [link] ). And well, those things it's holding on to are water apples.
Yep.
The water apples from the tree in my house :XD:

My dad managed to take this amazing shot of it flying past in the night sky next to my house balcony.
Due to the speed it's moving, it's somewhat blurry.





Well, at least now I know why my water apple tree seems to have so many small fruits but none ever grow big enough to eat. It's cause there's a fruit bat stealing them :XD:


Nothing much I can do really. Those things are a threatened species locally (but not internationally) and they're quite cute actually. Though I should wrap some of the fruits.
And leave some for them.

XD Megads, that's just the greatest, aint it?
Mother Nature wants HER munny back, too =P

The only thing worse that come to mind, offhand, is raccoons XD
The little fiends once got into our food cooler (when it was LOCKED, with a really STICKY lock) and ate all our skittles and maple sausage XD
And shredded all the other packages and got everything mondo gritty 8P

Well, good in a way I'm supporting the local fruit bat population. :XD:

Racoons are smart :censored: things.

Heard stories where wild boars raided the food in singapore army people camping in the wild and ate all the good field rations, leaving the crap ones for them. :XD:
