Bie bie computer

Some of my watchers would know of this by now.
For everyone else there's mastercard here's the news.

My computer (an Asus laptop) recently developed some weird problem where it doesn't shut down properly and the USB ports lost their plug and play abilities.
So since it's under warranty I sent it for a check.
Also that explains my relative art inactivity recently

The computer techs are going to be looking at it but they'd take 5 working days... so I expect them to call me about it sometime next week.

But why am I still online? well... simple. I'm using my old Fujitsu laptop (that still runs windows XP ) It still works, though it needed a bit of setting up after it's 2 years of disuse. Seems the tablet still works and photoshop is still here and there's some old programs leftover here too..... like hexagon .... so I can still do some art (once I reinstall the scanner) and skype and stuff.... just slower.


The down side is that well.... the com's too slow to run most contemporary games (hey it was with me for over 7 years!) so that means no more world of tanks until I get my usual computer back (Yay no tanks break time) and no borderlands, no wondering if I should start playing mechwarrior online... etc etc. though I do still have the first company of heroes here so I can go retro and revisit using silly brit tanks there.

Buttt well there's lots of stuff to do outside computer games so I'd be doing those.

Misc nonsense

Well not too much here. most stuff still works. Using bitdefender free edition as the antivirus on this com. should work as it seems to be the highest rated.
